Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

• managing patients with advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support; performing procedures such as right heart catheterization, endomyocardial biopsies, and Cardiomems insertion; providing outpatient care; participating in heart failure call rotations; and engaging in clinical and translational research.

Qualifications:

• strong clinical expertise in heart failure, transplant, and invasive hemodynamics; team-oriented with excellent communication skills; adaptable to a community-based academic hospital environment; and committed to patient care and teamwork.

Opportunities:

• outpatient load of 6-8 patients per half day, with an average of 15-20 patients daily; participation in a program known for high post-transplant survival and volume of total artificial heart procedures.
