Physician / Cardiology - Non Invasive / Pennsylvania / Locum tenens

Position Overview: Locum tenens opportunity for a Cardiologist specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology in Pennsylvania.

Coverage Details:

• Start Date: September 1, 2023, ongoing
• Schedule: September 1-4, September 22-25, October 6-9, October 23-27, November 3-6, November 24-27, December 22-25, December 29 - January 1
• Ongoing needs: 2-3 weeks/month
• Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, with night and weekend call in the Cath lab
• Shared call: 5 pm - 8 am on weekdays

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient and outpatient duties
• Will see general cardiology patients as available
• Patient volume: 5-10 patients per day
• Procedures: Non-invasive (20%), Invasive (40%), Interventional (40%)

Requirements:

• PA medical license
• Experience with TEEs (must be able to perform TEEs)
• Nuclear cardiology experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to respond to STEMI within 30 minutes

Support Staff and EMR:

• Support staff includes 5 RNs and 7 techs in the lab, 4 PAs in the cardiology practice group
