Qualifications

• Must have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Must have completed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and experience with Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD).
• Provider must live locally; only travel costs will be paid.
• Must have a DEA license.
• Must have an active Virginia medical license.

Overview

• Work Setting: Hospital/Doctor's Office/Clinic
• Coverage Dates: Start as soon as possible until a new doctor is hired.
• On-Call Schedule: Every 6th night/weekend
• Number of Providers: There are 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) on the team.
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Older Adults
• Documentation System: EPIC (computer system for patient records)
