Job description

Cross Country Locums is seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for night call coverage in Asheville, North Carolina. Please see the job details below:

1. Duration: June - September 2023, possibly ongoing
2. Schedule: Call only, Friday 5p-7a, with an average of 10 shifts per month
3. Coverage: Weekend night call shifts, 14 hours each, mostly by phone, but must come in to support sick patients and critical care
4. Requirements:
   • Comfortable with Cardiac ICU and possess a general knowledge base
   • Ability to read EKG and ECHO, supporting STEMI cases
   • Board Certified
   • Active North Carolina Medical License
   • Experience with EMR - Cerner
