Job description

Seeking BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join a team near Birmingham, AL. The facility's 14,000 square feet is solely dedicated to heart care patients. The state-of-the-art facility houses two fully digital cath labs. The stand-alone heart center has nine outpatient beds.

1. Heart catheterizations
2. PCI or angioplasty/stents
3. Pacemaker implants
4. Defibrillator implants

It is a busy independent, two-provider cardiology group.

• Call schedule 1 in 5
• STEMI and Cardiology call together
• Three independent IC that supports the hospital
• Two cath labs: one newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment, the other scheduled for renovations later this year
• Full-time position with a mix of inpatient and outpatient work
• Located just 1 hour from Birmingham, AL, and 2 hours from Atlanta, GA
