The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska is seeking board eligible or certified Pediatric Cardiologists to join our expanding teams across multiple growing communities throughout the region. The Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Heart Center at Children’s Nebraska provides comprehensive cardiac subspecialty care for patients of all ages. The Heart Center includes 29 pediatric cardiology faculty members, 3 pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, 10 pediatric cardiac intensivists, 6 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, and a highly skilled team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Our Cardiac Care Unit employs a “door to door” acuity-adaptable care model, ensuring comprehensive care for cardiac patients from admission to discharge. The Center is a certified Aetna Institute of Excellence for pediatric congenital heart surgery. Children’s Nebraska is a vibrant, free‑standing pediatric teaching hospital and the only full‑service pediatric specialty health care center in Nebraska with a 230‑bed hospital, Level IV Regional NICU, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Dedicated Behavior Health Inpatient Hospital, and over 50 specialty clinics.

Omaha, NE – Join our expanding Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant team as we add a Pediatric Cardiologist to our program—an exciting growth opportunity alongside our two current heart failure and transplant physicians serving children across the Midwest. You will work with an experienced team supporting a UNOS‑ and CMS‑accredited transplant program performing 5‑10 heart transplants and 3‑5 VAD implants each year. This role offers meaningful academic and research opportunities, along with the chance to teach trainees in the state‑of‑the‑art Criss Heart Center.
