Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Physician - Cardiology for locum coverage in Medford, OR. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care with an 8am–5pm schedule and on-call responsibilities after hours. The role requires procedural experience and the ability to read echocardiograms, EKGs, and nuclear studies as needed.

The position involves both hospital and clinic settings, with weekday shifts and potential weekend beeper duties. Level 3 trauma center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with fellowship training in cardiology.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient coverage is required.
• Active DEA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular services.
• Cover 8am–5pm with on-call beeper duties 5pm–8am on weekdays.
• Weekends and weeknight beeper coverage may be required; 1–2 weeks at a time.
• Interpret echocardiograms, EKGs and stress tests; read angiograms as needed.

Description:This locum position involves inpatient and outpatient coverage.The schedule includes time at the hospital and clinic.On-call responsibilities include weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call.The physician must be available to provide coverage for 1-2 weeks and potentially cover 1-2 weekends.Shift times are from 8am-5pm onsite.From 5pm to 8am, the physician will be on beeper call, which is included in the hourly rate.On weekends, the physician will also be on beeper call.Patient encounters per shift range from 7-9.The facility is a Level 3 trauma center.
