Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a cardiologist for an employed practice in Hickory, NC, near the Blue Ridge Mountains. Monday–Friday schedule with a general cardiology focus, joining 6 board-certified cardiologists and 5 APPs in a hospital-employed setting with no admin duties.

The facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center offering onsite noninvasive stress testing, echocardiography and cardiac rehabilitation. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are welcome; a DEA license is required, and we

Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hickory has a temperate climate and abundance of natural resources. You will be just minutes from Lake Norman, the largest lake in North Carolina with upscale lake shore communities, eateries, and recreational opportunities. You will also be close to both Charlotte and Asheville.

• Monday - Friday schedule with general cardiology focus
• Join 6 board-certified cardiologists and 5 APPs in an employed practice
• Hospital-employed position free from administrative duties
• Accredited Chest Pain Center at a not-for-profit medical center
• Onsite noninvasive stress testing, echocardiography, and cardiac rehabilitation
• Heart Failure Access Clinic and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation available
• Located in Hickory, NC - approximately 1 hour from Charlotte
• Board-certified or board-eligible candidates welcome; DEA required
