Job description

We are seeking a Cardiologist Physician to join our clinical practice in Grand Rapids and Hibbing, Minnesota. You will deliver care and collaborate with our partners, Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital and Fairview Range Health Services, bringing expertise in general clinical cardiology, including imaging laboratory skills, to these communities in breathtaking "Lake Country".

Practice Highlights:

The M Health Fairview Cardiovascular Service Line has a regional and national reputation for innovative cardiovascular medicine and aims to expand this to Grand Itasca Hospital and the surrounding area. The candidate will work within the heart care team providing a full range of cardiology services. The close relationship with the University of Minnesota offers research-based, academic medicine close to home for residents of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Practice Details:

  • Join a team of over 60 physicians, including 1 cardiologist and 2 nurse practitioners.
  • Benefit from a strong primary care referral base with on-site diagnostics.
  • Provide additional coverage in Hibbing, MN, which received the "AHA Gold Award" for Heart Failure.
  • As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to manage clinical care.
  • Work within a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
  • H1B Visa sponsorship is accepted.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in general clinical cardiology and advanced training in cardiovascular disease patient care management. Proven clinical skills and experience supporting postgraduate fellowship training are required. Candidates should be recognized for clinical excellence.
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME cardiology fellowship-training program.
  • Board eligible or certified by the ABMS or AOA.
  • Licensed or able to obtain a medical license and DEA registration in Minnesota, and meet credentialing and privileges requirements.
  • Ability to receive work authorization in the U.S. from USCIS and maintain legal status under VISA regulations.

Pay and Benefits:

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families. The full-time salary range is $316,289 to $569,290, commensurate with experience, potentially including incentives or specialty-specific components. Salary is prorated based on FTE.
