• Schedule: Monday – Friday, some weekends
• Night Call Rotation
• EMR: Athena & Cerner

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
• Accept patient referrals, act as admitting/attending/consulting physician as required.
• Participate in academic programs (education and research) as requested.
• Provide documentation meeting insurance requirements; appeal denials in a timely manner.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations, including on‑call schedules.

Requirements

• Physician MD/DO credentialed by Florida Board of Medicine (before hire date or transfer).
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
