Description:The position involves providing electrophysiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.The expected daily patient load is 3-4 patients, primarily geriatric and individuals aged 50 and older.The candidate should demonstrate recent experience with inpatient pacemaker implantation and DCCV cardioversion.The role requires rounding, patient admissions, and timely follow-up care.Weekend call responsibilities encompass inpatient rounding and supporting pacemaker implantation during weekends.Successful applicants must have a documented history of managing 100 inpatient cases within the last 24 months and 30 electrophysiology cases, including a minimum of 30 ablation cases if applicable.The applicant should be eligible for privileges to practice in both clinic and hospital settings.Collaborative care will involve interventional and general cardiology colleagues.Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is required.
