Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced EP lab physician for a 1099 locum position in Pennsylvania. The role includes performing ablations and device implants within the EP Lab, with a mix of in-hospital and in-lab duties.

Start target is September, with ongoing needs and a 60-90 day hospital privilege window. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with one day in the office and four days in hospital/EP Lab, plus one week per month.

Qualifications

• PA license highly preferred; licensing candidate considered.
• Board Certification required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Job description

• Hospital privilege is 60-90 days. Target is for September start, ongoing needs.
• Monday-Friday, 8-5p. No call. 1 day in office, 4 days in hospital/EP Lab. One week per month, ongoing.
• Type of patients / cases / procedures required: A fib/flutter ablation, pacemakers, ICD’s, SVT ablations, tilt tables, Bi-v devices.
• Available support staff & physician support: EP lab staff, MA and nurse in the office. APPs help with consults, admits discharges.
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: PA license highly preferred, will consider IMLC or a licensing candidate. Board Certification, BLS/ACLS

**This is a 1099 locum contract that provides medical malpractice insurance and travel while you work, no other employee benefits are available.
