Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with radiology specialization.
• ABR certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of a 12‑month Breast Imaging fellowship.
• Licensure to practice in Kansas and Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated breast imaging services within an academic medical center.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, DBT, ultrasound, CEM and MRI.
• Lead image-guided procedures including biopsies and lesion localization.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards with breast surgery, medical and radiation oncology, and pathology.
• Collaborate in resident and fellow education and pursue research or program development.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence with strong IT/PACS support.

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a dedicated Breast Radiologist to join our growing academic faculty within the Department of Radiology. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging in a high-volume, tertiary care setting while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration at a nationally recognized academic medical center.

Key Position Highlights

• Dedicated Breast Imaging practice within a comprehensive academic medical center
• Full spectrum of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, contrast-enhanced mammography and breast MRI
• Advanced image-guided procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, CEM-guided and MRI-guided biopsies, as well as preoperative localization
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and pathology through integrated tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences
• High-quality technologist and nursing support, with efficient workflows and robust IT/PACS infrastructure
• Faculty appointment commensurate with qualifications and academic interests, offering involvement in resident and fellow education as well as opportunities to pursue research or advance clinical programs

Required Qualifications
