Advanced Radiology Services, P.C. is seeking an Alpena-based general radiologist to join a large physician-owned practice. The role supports a Level III trauma center with potential for occasional travel to other ARS sites.

Who we are:

Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 190 radiologists, 38 advanced practice providers, and 180 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do:

ARS provides radiology services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. We will be the exclusive provider to MyMichigan Health this fall. This nonprofit health system is headquartered in Midland with 8 medical centers providing care to a 25 county region. MyMichigan provides a full continuum of care across a wide array of settings, including urgent care centers, home health, virtual care, and medical offices in more than 30 specialties and subspecialties including cardiology, family medicine, hematology/oncology, neurosciences, orthopedics, pediatrics, vascular surgery, and more.

What we are looking for:

We are currently accepting applicants for an Alpena based general radiologist. The Alpena site is 139 bed medical center which provides Level III trauma care. This position may have occasional travel to other ARS sites of operation. A standard track position offers 13 weeks of vacation. We could also hire for a weekday daytime only role (no evenings, weekends, or holidays) which offers 8 weeks of vacation.

Compensation/Benefits:

We offer a 100K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation plan, stipends for on-site shifts, and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($70,000 in 2025). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and we have a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit!
