Job summary

Advanced Radiology Services, P.C. is seeking an Alpena-based general radiologist to join a large physician-owned practice. The role supports a Level III trauma center with potential for occasional travel to other ARS sites.

Significant vacation and comprehensive benefits accompany the position. The ideal candidate will be ABR-certified or eligible, with fellowship training preferred and a track record of working autonomously in rural settings.

Qualifications

• ABR certification or eligibility required.
• Fellowship training preferred but significant practice experience may be considered.
• Comfort working autonomously in more rural sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpret studies from all modalities, including mammography.
• Perform minor percutaneous interventions such as drainages and biopsies.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies and localizations.
• Occasional travel to other ARS sites may be required.
