You will educate physicians on coding guidelines and reconcile charges monthly to support accurate reimbursement. Minimum three years of coding experience with CPT/ICD-9 and E/M proficiency is required; CPC/CCS-P/CPMA certification is necessary.

Job Description Summary: Conduct retrospective audit of ambulatory and inpatient physician documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance. Account for concurrent inpatient billing accuracy and compliance for selected divisions and provide physician education on coding and documentation guidelines.
Pay range: $28.50–$46.60 per hour. The range reflects minimum and maximum targets for this position and is reviewed regularly to stay aligned with market conditions.
