Per Diem Physician (Haitian Creole Speaking)
Job Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite+Telemedicine).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $180/hr for onsite patient care, $140/hr for telemedicine.
Schedule: 1-2 days/month onsite, followed by flexible telemedicine schedule.

We will consider a Physician willing to get licensed for state of NJ.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a bilingual Haitian Creole speaking Physician to provide general wellness checkups on site and chronic disease management programs via telemedicine to a private client in Princeton, NJ area. The Physician will participate in a structured multi-week treatment and coaching program for Chronic Metabolic Diseases (i.e Pre-diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Obesity) designed to improve their wellness and lifestyle.
We handle all patient appointments and administrative work, allowing you to focus entirely on one-on-one clinical patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to practice preventive and personalized medicine in a supportive, structured setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wellness checkups.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
• Provide chronic disease management to patients based on our program guidelines.
• Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
• Educate patients around blood pressure and glucose monitoring.
• Prescribe chronic disease management medications.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Clean active license to practice in the state of New Jersey or willing to be licensed in the state of NJ. NY and other state licenses will be a plus.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Board certification in specialty.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Must be bilingual fluent in HAITIAN CREOLE.
• Background in internal medicine, family practice, preventive care and/or endocrinology preferred.
• Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
• Must be able to reliable commute to Princeton NJ 1-2 days per month.
