Description:

University of Michigan Health Sparrow Lansing - Full-time Outpatient Psychiatry Position

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is seeking a full-time, dynamic board-certified Psychiatrist for an adult/geriatric outpatient position. University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is committed to improving access to medical care across the Mid-Michigan region.

Job Requirements

General Requirements: Eligible for Board Certification within five (5) years of completing an accredited residency program.

Education: MD or DO

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job.

Responsibilities:

1. Sparrow Behavioral Health offers inpatient treatment for adult and geriatric populations, outpatient partial hospitalization, neuropsychology testing, and outpatient psychiatry services.
2. Outpatient clinic is open Monday – Friday, 8:30-4:00 p.m. Closed on major holidays.
3. Outpatient daily average per provider is twelve visits per day, with options for in-office and telehealth visits.
4. Additional on-call services for the inpatient adult and geriatric population.
5. EPIC EMR utilization.
