Job description

Seeking an Audiologist who holds a Masters or AuD Degree in Audiology to join a growing team in Atlanta, Georgia.

Details:
  1. Conduct hearing evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, assessing history, medical diagnosis, social, and communicative conditions through testing and interviews to establish a basis for patient treatment.
  2. Understand otologic and neurological diagnostic processes sufficiently to obtain audiological information that helps physicians distinguish between etiologies in patients.
  3. Generate timely, clear, and succinct written communications for treating physicians.
  4. Understand the theory behind established clinical protocols and modify diagnostic procedures to meet patient needs without compromising test reliability or validity.
  5. Provide all services with a caring, empathetic manner, adhering to the highest professional, ethical, and legal standards.
  6. Interpret hearing evaluation data within the context of patients' perceptual, social, and communicative needs.
  7. Develop rational treatment and monitoring plans with patients and/or caregivers, including amplification, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling as indicated.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
