Job summary

MaineHealth in Brunswick, ME is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for its Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. The ideal candidate will work alongside 6 Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants in a supportive team-based atmosphere. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and surgical assistance with a typical schedule of 1 operating room day and 3 clinic days.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Orthopedics and/or OR.
• Ability to obtain state licensure prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-volume practice with 6 Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants.
• Participate in inpatient rounding and surgical assistance.
• Provide call coverage of 1:6, primarily for low volume phone calls.

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine - Brunswick is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their established, high-volume practice. Considered applicants would be joining a strong, cohesive group of 6 Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants. The ideal candidate would thrive in a team-based atmosphere of cross-coverage and daily inpatient rounding. This integrated practice provides on-site radiology as well musculoskeletal rehabilitation services. This is a 40-hour per week position, typically including 1 operating room day and 3 clinic days. This position includes call coverage of 1:6, which primarily involves low volume phone calls in the evening and weekend rounding.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
