Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program.
• Current and unrestricted Nebraska license to practice as a NP or PA.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & ATLS are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, age-appropriate clinical care in clinic, hospital, and Emergency Department settings.
• Assess patients, obtain histories, perform examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging; prescribe medications per scope of practice.
• Perform approved procedures such as suturing, splinting, casting, and management of minor injuries.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
