Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Urology Surgery Physician Assistant to assist, monitor, and manage day-to-day patient needs under the supervision of a physician. The role follows standard medical guidelines and professional responsibilities for a Physician Assistant.

Weekend and holiday work are required, with no on-call duties. A PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS are required, along with AMA-accredited PA training.

Formación

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, AMA-accredited.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

The Per Diem Urology Surgery Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Not Applicable.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Physician Assistant License.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
