Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Uro Gyn OR Physician Assistant to assist, monitor, and manage patient needs under physician supervision. You will perform PA duties according to medical standards, supporting surgeons in robotic procedures.

Two years of surgically trained robotics experience and urogynecology/OBGYN preferred. Coverage across JFK, Riverview, Old Bridge, and Jersey Shore University Medical Center, with duties at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-accredited PA program.
• Current, unrestricted PA license and NCCPA certification.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist, monitor, and manage day-to-day patient needs under physician supervision.
• Perform PA duties according to customary medical standards.
• Provide coverage across JFK, Riverview, Old Bridge, and Jersey Shore U.M. C.

Job description

The Per Diem Uro Gyn OR Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

2 years experience surgically trained in robotic surgery and preferred experience in Urogynecology/OBGYN.
Coverage for JFK (Primary), Riverview, Old Bridge and Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

• Education:

  • Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.

• Licensure & Certifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant License.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

• Certifications:
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
