Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Mt. Carmel, PA. This site qualifies for a $7,800 geography stipend and a $20,000 recruitment incentive.
Geisinger ConvenientCare (Urgent Care) clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, along with routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.

Education and experience (Required):
Due to the autonomous nature of the position, Advanced Practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older, and have at least six months of experience in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Critical Care.
The successful Physician Assistant will work under physician supervision, having completed an ARC-PA (or predecessor) approved PA program, holding current NCCPA certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania licensure.
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification; NCCPA Certification
