The Position: We are currently in search of a Physician Assistant. The right candidate will possess:

• Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with patients and families effectively and courteously, clients, coworkers, clinical staff, and physicians.
• Progressive thinking for budget, training, and quality issues.
• Strong leadership qualities.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Experience within urgent care, primary care or emergency department setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic emergency department, internal medicine, generalist, occupational medicine, and family practice procedures required.
• Experience with pediatrics required.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Must be certified by NCCPA.
• Current license as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island is required.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
