Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our urology team in Mobile, Alabama. The role includes outpatient evaluations, patient communication, and adherence to infection control standards in a clinical setting.

Qualified candidates must complete an approved PA training program, hold PA-C certification, and be licensed in Alabama within 60 days; a combination of education and experience may substitute. 20+ hours per week position with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Physician's Assistant training program.
• PA-C certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Licensure with the state of Alabama to practice as a Physician Assistant within 60 Days.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Increase our ability to evaluate general urology patient problems.
• Perform out-patient urology evaluations.
• Knowledge about urology medications.
• Evaluate new general urology patients.
• See follow up patients from the hospital in the clinical setting.
• Take patient calls and discuss results.
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as assigned.

• Increase our ability to evaluate general urology patient problems; the demand for the service has been steadily and sharply increasing.
• Perform out-patient urology evaluations; which has a strong and growing demand
• Knowledge about urology medications
• Evaluate new general urology patients
• See follow up patients from the hospital in the clinical setting
• Take patient calls and discuss results
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
• Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
