Job summary

Revo Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Blaine, MN location. This full-time, on-site role supports our Advanced Practice Providers and surgical teams with patient care and perioperative duties.

The position involves assisting surgeons, performing procedures, prescribing medications, and contributing to patient management under physician supervision. This role emphasizes hands-on clinical and operating room exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification is required.
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license required.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in operating room and in pre-operative planning.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, suturing and wound care.
• Apply, remove, modify and adjust casts and soft goods; change dressings; remove sutures.
• Implement patient management plans, record progress, and assist in provision of care.
• Pre op/post op orders, rounding and call, as required by supervising Physician.
• Prescribe medications.
• Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events.

Description

The Physician Assistant is responsible to provide healthcare services to patients as first assist in surgery with some clinic exposure under direction and responsibility of physician(s).

This is a full-time position supporting our Blaine location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Assist surgeon in operating room (e.g., pre-surgery planning, position patient in O.R., check for proper instruments, assist in surgical procedure, close wound, remove patient)
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, suturing and wound care
• Apply, remove, modify and adjust casts and soft goods; change dressings; remove sutures
• Implement patient management plans, record progress, and assist in provision of care
• Pre op/post op orders, rounding and call, as required by supervising Physician
• Prescribe medications
• Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year.
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program-New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions:

• Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
