Job summary

Providence Women's Services is seeking a surgical physician assistant to join its OB-GYN surgery team in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a weekday schedule and no on-call obligations.

Responsibilities include gynecologic surgery management, histories and exams, daily rounds, education, and coordination of diagnostic tests and referrals.

Qualifications

• Desire for teamwork in inpatient/outpatient OB-GYN surgery.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong interpersonal communication and diagnostic thinking.
• Experience in gynecologic surgical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures.
• Perform histories and physical exams in office and hospital settings: new patients, follow-ups, pre/post-ops, consults.
• Conduct daily rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, documentation, and discharge summaries.
• Order and interpret medications and diagnostic tests (labs, x-ray, ultrasound, CT).
• Monitor treatment progress and coordinate referrals as needed.

Providence Medical Group Women's Services in Everett, Washington is looking for a surgical physician assistant to join its OB-GYN surgery team. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with multiple physicians in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Being flexible to change, having a willingness to learn, excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills are also highly desired. • Patient management will include gynecological surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery

• Experience is preferred

• Perform patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, pre/post ops, consults

• Handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries

• Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, etc.

• Monitor and manage patients' course of treatment and make/coordinate appropriate referrals as needed

• Monday to Friday schedule

• No call

• Compensation is between $135,890 and $180,253 per year

• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
