Job summary

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Surgical Oncology team. The PA will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services, collaborating with surgeons, nurses and researchers to deliver compassionate cancer care.

Qualified candidates must be board certified and have experience in inpatient settings; no operating room duties are involved. The role offers M-F schedule with 6-3 hours and no call, on Banner MD Anderson Campus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant with active PA-C license.
• Inpatient oncology experience preferred (2 years).
• Inpatient only setting with no operating room responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services to cancer patients.
• Participate in clinical, research, and education activities within the division.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.

The Division of Surgical Oncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of this growth, we are recruiting Physician Assistants to provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic PA to join our Surgical Oncology team. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients. Our PA is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Center (BMDACC) at the University Campus in Phoenix, Arizona.

• 2 years' inpatient experience preferred
