Penn State Health Strausstown Family Practice in Strausstown, PA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat patients within a collaborative care team. The role includes opportunities to focus on health promotion and disease prevention, and to order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Prescribing may be involved as part of patient care.

The position is full-time with a 1.0 FTE, typical weekday hours, and a varied shift pattern including one evening per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
