Job summary

Gastro Health in Woodbridge, VA seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our private GI practice. You will coordinate individualized treatment plans under physician supervision and deliver high-quality, patient-centered GI care in an outpatient setting.

Join a collaborative team with a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm), aiming for about 20 patient encounters daily. Virginia license, prescriptive authority, and GI or internal medicine experience are preferred; bilingual

Qualifications

• Active VA NP or PA license.
• National certification as NP or PA with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 1 year APP experience.
• GI or internal medicine experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 2 gastroenterologists and 2 APPs to deliver GI care.
• Provide outpatient consults and follow-ups.
• Coordinate individualized treatment plans under physician supervision.
• Engage in clinical responsibilities that support high-quality care.

About The Opportunity

Gastro Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our private practice team in Woodbridge, VA. Our APPs play an active part in delivering high-quality GI care by coordinating individualized treatment plans under physician supervision and engaging in clinical responsibilities that help drive high-quality, patient-centered care.

We welcome APPs who want to grow their expertise in gastroenterology within a practice model that values clinical autonomy, work-life balance, and long-term career growth. We offer robust onboarding, GI-specific training resources, and a clinical framework designed to help APPs thrive.

• Work collaboratively with a team of 2 gastroenterologists, 2 APPs, and support staff
• Monday through Friday schedule: 8AM to 5PM
• Average 20 patient encounters per day
• Outpatient consults and follow-ups

Candidate Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia
• National certification as an NP or PA with prescriptive authority
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of APP experience preferred
• Gi or internal medicine experience preferred
