Crossover Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Primary Health team. The PA will assist in examinations and treatment under the Lead Physician, ensuring compliance with state practice acts.

Responsibilities include conducting exams, developing care plans, counseling patients, ordering tests, and coordinating care with physicians. Strong clinical background in internal medicine or family practice is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and PA Program completion required.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience as a PA in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency dept.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the practicing state; NCCPA certification.
• Current BLS; ACLS may be required by contract scope.

Responsabilidades

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures per physician guidance.
• Develops patient management plans, records progress, and aids continuity of care.
• Counsels patients on adherence to therapy and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess health needs.
• Records findings and formulates plans and prognosis with the care team.
• Provides home-going instructions and coordinates with physicians.
• Prescribes or recommends medications and therapies as allowed.
• Refers patients to physicians or specialists as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
