Job summary

Greater Good Health in Ammon, ID is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our primary care team serving senior Medicare patients. The role includes conducting annual wellness visits, managing high-risk patients at home with telehealth support, and collaborating with the Primary Care team for holistic care.

This full-time position (5 days, 8am-5pm) may include in-clinic, in-home, or telehealth visits within a 30-mile radius; flexibility across regions is required.

Qualifications

• Idaho PA license is required.
• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical PA experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology or Palliative Care.
• Experience with chronic care management and medication options is preferred.
• Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire.
• Active CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Current Idaho Driver's License is required.
• Bilingual preferred - English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual wellness visits and manage high-risk patients, including home visits and telehealth.
• Document medical histories, symptoms, and medications accurately.
• Administer screenings and tests.
• Collaborate with the Primary Care team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Ensure timely completion of patient records with access to EMR and portals.
• Provide patient education on preventive care and treatments.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

The Role

As a Physician Assistant at Greater Good Health, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide exceptional care to our senior Medicare patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting annual wellness visits/managing high-risk primarily at the patient's residence, supplemented by telehealth
• Thoroughly documenting medical histories, symptoms, and medication information
• Administering various tests and screenings
• Collaborating with our Primary Care team to ensure holistic patient care
• Ensuring timely completion of patient records, with access to electronic medical records and portals
• Providing patient education on preventive care and prescribed treatments
• Maintaining strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations

What You Can Expect

This is a full-time Physician Assistant opportunity (5 days a week, 8am-5pm schedule). This role can include in-clinic, in-home, or telehealth visits. Home visits will be schedule within a 30 mile radius of your home region. This position will be required to flex across regions to provide coverage as needed to accommodate for scheduling changes.

Experience And Qualifications

• Current Idaho Physician Assistant license
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• 2 + years of clinical experience as a PA in either Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology or Palliative Care. Home care experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of chronic care management and various medication options
• Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire
• Active CPR/BLS Certification
• Current Idaho Driver's License
• Bilingual preferred - English and Spanish
