Job summary

Greater Good Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for senior Medicare patients in Roseburg, OR. The role involves a mix of in-clinic and in-home visits, with telehealth support as needed, focusing on wellness visits and comprehensive chronic care management.

Qualifications

  • PA certification from ANCC or AANP.
  • 2+ years of clinical PA experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology or Palliative Care.
  • Knowledge of chronic care management and medication options.
  • Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire.
  • Active CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Physician Assistant at Greater Good Health, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide exceptional care to our senior Medicare patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting annual wellness visits/managing high-risk primarily at the patient's residence, supplemented by telehealth
  • Thoroughly documenting medical histories, symptoms, and medication information
  • Administering various tests and screenings
  • Collaborating with our Primary Care team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Ensuring timely completion of patient records, with access to electronic medical records and portals
  • Providing patient education on preventive care and prescribed treatments
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations
What You Can Expect

This is a full-time Physician Assistant opportunity (5 days a week, 8am-5pm schedule). This role can include in-clinic, in-home, or telehealth visits. Home visits will be scheduled within a 30 mile radius of your home region. This position will be required to flex across regions to provide coverage as needed to accommodate for scheduling changes.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Physician Assistant certification from either the ANCC / AANP
  • 2 + years of clinical experience as a PA in either Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology or Palliative Care. Home care experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of chronic care management and various medication options
  • Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire
  • Active CPR/BLS Certification
  • Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish
