Description

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Physician Assistant - Primary Care tothe group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. Harlem Hospital is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Opportunity Details:

• Shift: Tuesday to Saturday / 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
• Perform 60% direct patient care (seeing patients on their panel, same-day walk-in clinic, supportive chronic diseases nurse in Treat-to-Target blood pressure program).
• Perform 40% administrative time supportive clinic medication prior authorization, form completion, medication refills, etc.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PA program.
• Completed and Passed PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam).
• NYS license.
• Continuing education: 100 hours of CME every 2 years.
• Prior history of residency experience or primary care experience preferred by not required.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $127,308* - $169,744* based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $140,039** - $186,718**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
