The Physician Assistant (PA) provides comprehensive medical care within an Internal Medicine and Primary Care setting. The position involves evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications and treatments, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation.
The Physician Assistant is expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, provide patient-centered care, and maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with the PA's education, training, experience, competency, applicable laws and regulations, organizational policies, and the applicable practice agreement.
The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with the supervising physician and other members of the healthcare team. The supervising physician will provide oversight and remain available for consultation, communication, referrals, and other supervision requirements as established by the practice agreement and applicable California law.
