OrthoCarolina Pineville is seeking a Physician Assistant to work with one of our physicians. The PA will provide medical care under physician supervision across office and hospital settings, focusing on orthopedic injuries and conditions.
The role includes assisting in the operating room, performing ER and floor consultations, and developing patient management plans with appropriate documentation and coding. A valid North Carolina PA license and NCCPA certification are required.

The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing medical care as delegated by OrthoCarolina physician(s).
Responsibilities may include assisting the physician in both the office and hospital setting, independent clinics seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and illnesses, assisting in the operating room as needed, and performing emergency room and floor consultations.
Accurately evaluate patient problems in person or via phone and providing appropriate advice, intervention or referral. Skill in evaluating and revising care plans based on patient changes.
Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program. Current in the following: North Carolina PA license Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Prior experience in the field of orthopedics is preferred but not required. Prior experience as a physician assistant is preferred but not required.
