Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for managing assigned patients on the hematology oncology inpatient service, including general hematology-oncology cases such as chemotherapy, fever and neutropenia, sickle cell pain crises, or stem cell transplants. The APP demonstrates high critical thinking and clinical expertise, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, and care coordination for patients and families.
Scheduled Hours: Variable rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
