Job summary

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in Olympia, WA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to work with interventional pain management physicians, addressing complex regional pain syndrome and cancer-related pain. You will examine patients, administer medications, order tests, diagnose conditions, and counsel patients and families.

The role requires an active WA PA license or eligibility, with 2–3 years in orthopedics (pain management preferred).

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in WA or eligible to obtain before hire.
• 2–3 years of orthopedic experience as a PA; preference for pain management experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients under physician supervision.
• Administer drugs as directed and order diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose illnesses and counsel patients and their families.

OOA is looking for an experienced Physician Assistantto work directly with one of our well-established Interventional Pain Management Physicians, specializing in treatment of complex regional pain syndrome along with back, neck, neuropathic, and cancer pain. Under the supervision of a physician, you will be responsible for examining patients, administering drugs, ordering medical and diagnostic testing, diagnosing illnesses, and counselling patients and their families.

Physician Assistant Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistantlicense in the state of WA, or the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
• 2-3 years’ Orthopedic experience as a Physician Assistant, preference for experience in pain management.
