Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Active or eligible Arizona Physician Assistant license.
• DEA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
• Perform age-appropriate physical examinations and obtain medical histories.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's clinical needs.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medication management.
• Provide routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, and preventive care.
• Administer and manage childhood immunizations.
• Evaluate and treat common pediatric illnesses, infections, and minor injuries.
• Provide anticipatory guidance and education to parents and caregivers.
• Monitor growth, development, nutrition, and overall wellness.
• Perform routine outpatient procedures as appropriate, including injections, wound care, and suturing.
• Identify concerns requiring referral to pediatric specialists and coordinate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care throughout the patient experience.
