TPAPT is recruiting PA School Application and Personal Statement specialists to work with students applying to competitive PA programs throughout the US. We are looking for PAs with a passion for mentoring to guide PA school applicants on their application process.

Prior experience as a mentor, tutor, or admissions committee member is preferred but not required. Candidates must be strong communicators in both writing and speaking. The role is part-time, ranging from a few hours a week up to 15 hours, with an onboarding process to familiarize advisors with our procedures.

Classification: Contract (1099)

Compensation: $40/hr - $45/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Meet with pre-PA students via Zoom to help them plan coursework and extracurricular activities to strengthen their applications.
2. Guide applicants through the steps involved in preparing their PA school applications.
3. Assist applicants in writing personal statements, experience descriptions, and other essays for PA school.
4. Review applicants' essays and provide written feedback and revisions.
5. Coach applicants on the PA school interview process, conduct mock interviews, and offer feedback.

Requirements:

1. Earned Bachelor's Degree.
2. Demonstrable expertise and experience with PA school admissions.
3. Availability of 3-15 hours per week.
4. Familiarity with remote learning tools like Zoom.
5. Experience mentoring, tutoring, or advising students.
