Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking an NP or PA in Illinois (Freeport) to join a growing urgent care team. The base rate is $80/hour with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires. This role offers strong CME opportunities, medical benefits, a 401(k) match, and no on-call responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months in a high-volume urgent care setting, plus active licensure in the applying state (NCCPA for PAs or AANP/ANCC for FNPs).

Qualifications

• 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months in a high-volume urgent care setting.
• Licensure as Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the applying state is required.
• Active NCCPA board certification is required for Physician Assistant.
• Active NCCNP/ANCC certification as applicable for Family Nurse Practitioner is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality urgent care.
• Manage adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
• Contribute to a supportive medical community within WellNow.

Minimum Qualifications
