Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Buffalo, NY. You will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities to diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions for both adults and children.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or 18 months in a high-volume urgent care
• Active licensure as PA or NP in the state of practice
• Active NCCPA certification for PA or active AANP/ANCC certification for NP
• Ability to manage adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced setting

Salary

• Starting hourly rate for qualified NP/PA candidates is $75/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where you are applying is required
• Physician Assistant- Active board certification with NCCPA is required
• Family Nurse Practitioner- Active board certification with AANP or ANCC is required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in emergency medicine or 3+ years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients
