Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness in New York City is seeking an experienced Endocrinology NP/PA to join our Brooklyn outpatient specialty practice. You will evaluate and treat patients with endocrine disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians and dietitians to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds active New York NP/PA license, board certification, and at least 2 years' endocrinology experience.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program with current national board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of endocrinology experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat endocrine disorders including diabetes and thyroid disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Order, interpret, and monitor labs and imaging.
• Prescribe and manage medications including insulin.
• Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle changes.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and the care team.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other hormonal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
• Order, interpret, and monitor laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin and other endocrine therapies.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

What We're Looking For

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of endocrinology experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and chronic disease management skills.
• Experience managing diabetes and other endocrine conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
