Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Endocrinology NP or PA to join our outpatient specialty practice.

You’ll evaluate and treat diabetes, thyroid and other endocrine disorders, develop individualized plans, order tests, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current national board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of endocrinology experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and chronic disease management skills.
• Experience managing diabetes and other endocrine conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and pituitary disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Order, interpret, and monitor labs and imaging studies.
• Prescribe and manage medications including insulin and other therapies.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, diabetes educators, and dietitians to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other hormonal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
• Order, interpret, and monitor laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin and other endocrine therapies.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

What We’re Looking For

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of endocrinology experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and chronic disease management skills.
• Experience managing diabetes and other endocrine conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
