Physician Assistant PA-C or Nurse Practitioner ACNP (Inpatient) (55655)

United Digestive is a large, well-established organization with 130 physicians, 85 Mid-level Providers, and 19 endoscopy centers in the southeast. We seek candidates with a record of academic achievement and excellent consultative and diagnostic skills. Gastroenterology experience is preferred but not required. General Summary Of Duties

Responsible for providing medical assistance to patients in hospital, and receives training and direction from practice physicians.

Location

Primary location: Float for Piedmont & Emory Hospitals. Piedmont: Atlanta and Henry; Emory: Midtown, Johns Creek, Dekalb, and St. Joseph.

Responsibilities
  • Completing inpatient hospital coverage and rounds
  • Providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures
  • Dictating hospital consults performed
  • Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls promptly
  • Maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information
Minimum Requirements

Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant, or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (adult or acute care). GI experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Must be computer literate and proficient in Practice Management software and Microsoft Office.
