Indian Health Service is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver outpatient, preventive and therapeutic care within the federal health system. The role emphasizes health promotion and comprehensive treatment for diverse communities.

The selected candidate will teach and mentor health staff and students, and participate in public health initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master of Physician Assistant Studies or related master’s degree and completion of an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification; maintain CME and recertification requirements.
• Current, active PA license in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Provides comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services in an outpatient setting.
• Identifies and manages illnesses and preventive aspects of these conditions.
• Educates and orients staff, tribal members, health board, and tribal leaders on health care issues.
• Serves in a teaching capacity and precepts students and other health care workers.
