Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a Physician Assistant in Otolaryngology to provide outpatient ENT care at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Enjoy a work schedule with Monday–Friday, 9-hour shifts and no on-call responsibilities, in a patient-focused environment with full benefits.

The candidate should have an ARC-PA accredited PA program degree, NCCPA certification, and an active PA license in the United States, with 1 year outpatient experience and ENT exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Active, unrestricted PA license in a US state.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Minimum 1 year outpatient clinical experience; ENT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient ENT clinical care to patients at Lackland AFB, TX.
• Focus on patient care with minimal administrative duties.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver comprehensive ENT services.
• Support mission readiness by ensuring high-quality clinical care for eligible beneficiaries.

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent potential opportunity for a civilian or transitioning (from the Military) Physician Assistant Otolaryngology (ENT) provider at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in the Medical health Services (SAMHS) market.

Requirements

Degree/Education: Bachelor's Degree, Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). In addition to the education requirements listed in the DHA-PM for PAs, specialty PAs must complete residency or fellowship training of 12 months or more in a medical specialty program acceptable to the DHA.

Certifications: Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC, .

Board Certification: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA).

Licensure: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted Physicians Assistants license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.

Experience: Minumum of 1 year clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Otolaryngology experience is highly recommended.
