Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join an Orthopedic Surgery team, primarily hand & wrist. The role combines clinic and operating room duties with a 70% clinic / 30% OR split and standard 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include full patient assessments, diagnoses, orders, prescriptions, and education, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Licensed PA in MN and NCCPA are required; weekend rotation is occasional.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• 2 to 5 years' experience post Physician Assistant training strongly preferred.
• Licensed Physician Assistant - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire.
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days.
• Certification as Physician Assistant - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required.
• Drug Enforcement Administration upon hire required.

Job Summary

Provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations as part of a Physician/Physician Assistant team. Works within a Specialty Care team, in both inpatient and outpatient situations and can perform independently or as part of the treatment team ensuring continuity of patient care in all settings. Serves as an educator, case manager, consultant to staff and multidisciplinary health care team.

Primary practice locations will be Eden Prairie, West Health, Edina West, & Minneapolis. Eden Prairie will be consistent location, at least twice per week.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $126,006 to $144,206 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
