A leading healthcare provider seeks a qualified Inpatient/Outpatient Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedics team. The role involves assisting in surgeries, providing patient care and education, and contributing to the multidisciplinary approach in a collaborative work environment. **This position will include working with our Joint Surgeons in hip, knee and shoulder and will provide 2nd Assist in the OR.

Position: Physician Assistant - Inpatient / Outpatient
Shift: Full time - 40 hours, Monday-Friday - no weekends or holidays!
Experience:
1. Two (2) years' experience as physician assistant or Board eligible graduate preferred.
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
Education:
1. Bachelor of Science degree or more in a physical science required.
2. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Must be certified or new graduate who is eligible for certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants). Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure's certification required.
2. ACLS certification preferred.
3. May require PALS.
4. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
